Data Analysis of the LLNL (Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory) Hydrogen Igniter Experiments.

A data analysis of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) Hydrogen Igniter Experimental Program is presented in this report. The general analysis includes a comparison of available results from the LLNL, Fenwal, and Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) igniter test programs and an analysis of flame speeds from the LLNL data. Our treatment of the LLNL steam tests includes the development of a model to calculate mass condensation rates and maximum fog density, and the application of this model to the steam test data with the goal of explaining the various hydrogen burn phenomena observed.
