The preparation, purification and identification of tetra-n-butyl tin is described. Its performance in liquid scintillation counting of the low-energy gamma emitter, iodine-125 used in radioimmunoassay and optimization of the counting procedures with special vials are also reported. 4 refs., 4 figs., 4 tabs.
