Vapor Pressure of Shale Oil and Prediction of Condenser Performance

Data are presented for the vapor pressure as a function of temperature for oil generated under Fischer Assay conditions from Anvil Points 24 gpt shale. Similar data are also given for the same oil after varying amounts up to 12% of the more volatile constituents have been distilled off. These data are then applied to estimation of the performance of condensers operated at various temperatures. (ERA citation 08:019785)
