摘要

The classical one-dimensional anisotropic continuum Heisenberg ferromagnetic spin chain in the presence of a constant transverse magnetic field is considered. The evolution of the spin is expressed by the equation of motion in terms of a stereographic variable and static special solutions have been reported in two limiting cases. A singular point analysis (Painleve analysis) of the system results in exhibiting Painleve property in two distinct cases with definite behaviour at the leading orders consistent with the two static solutions reported. The results of the Painleve analysis thus exclude the possibility of any other integrable cases. (Atomindex citation 15:007612)
