Genetics and Physiology of Secretion of Cellulase by Trichoderma

In an effort to improve the enzymatic saccharification of cellulose to glucose, a number of mutant strains of Trichoderma reesei have been isolated which show enhanced production of the cellulose complex. Two of these mutants, Rut-C30 and RL-P37, were studied in relation to their complement of cellulases and their secretory mechanisms. 22 reference, 2 figures. (ERA citation 09:044637)
