Volume II consists largely of experimental poisoning and regeneration on lower temperature AB and AB sub 5 alloys. A variety of alloys and gaseous impurities are covered along with important temperature effects. Included are performance models of hydrides that can be applied to process design and operating situations. Part 1 covers the effect of O sub 2 and CO on the AB sub 5 compound LaNi sub 5 . Part 2 covers O sub 2 and CO effects on the AB compounds FeTi and (Fe, Mn)Ti. Part 3 covers O sub 2 and CO sub 2 effects on an Al-modified AB sub 5 , LaNi sub 4 sub 7 Al sub 0 sub 3 , and a Ni-modified AB, Fe sub 0 sub 85 Ni sub 0 sub 15 Ti. Part 4 summarizes the adsorption/poisoning tests run on AB and AB sub 5 alloys. Part 5 covers the cyclic poisoning tests of LaNi sub 5 and (Fe,Mn)Ti with various new impurities: H sub 2 S, CH sub 3 SH, CO sub 2 , NH sub 3 , N sub 2 , CH sub 4 and C sub 2 H sub 4 . Part 6 covers the CO and O sub 2 combination effects for (Fe, Mn)Ti and LaNi sub 5 . (ERA citation 10:009644)
