Microprocessor-Controlled Rotating Shadowband Radiometer

At the Pacific Northwest Laboratory (PNL), we have developed a microprocessor-based data logger/controller that we have wed to another PNL-developed device: a movable shadowband radiometer. This combination, which promises to be an effective low-cost instrument for the reliable determination of three fundamental solar parameters, will be described in this paper. (ERA citation 10:008476)
