Giant Sawtooth Oscillation in Ohmically Heated Tokamak Plasma

Strong, periodic instabilities were observed in the MT-1 tokamak. Characteristics of these instabilities were partly similar to those of internal disruptions, but there were features making them different from the normal relaxational oscillations.
