This report is divided into four parts: influence of time harmonics on the operation of universal motors, aging of electric machines and transformers in home appliances due to the temperature rise caused by the higher harmonic content of the supply voltage, equivalent impedances of residential distribution systems, and propagation of harmonics in distribution power systems.
