Development of a Microorifice Uniform Deposit Cascade Impactor. Final Report, 7 July 1983-24 August 1984

The purpose of this project was to design, build, calibrate, and deliver two microorifice cascade impactors to the Department of Energy. One of these impactors was to be of a conventional non-rotating design and the other was to be a uniform deposit impactor, having rotating impaction plates so that the particles can be uniformly deposited upon the impaction plate. In this report, the design of the impactors is presented, the calibration procedure described, and the resulting calibration curves discussed. 7 references, 12 figures, 6 tables.
