Feasibility Study of Thyroid Cancer among Patients Treated with I-131

This study examined the feasibility of conducting a Canada-wide follow-up study of persons receiving I-131 before 1970, to see if current estimates of induction of thyroid cancer are well founded. It is concluded that such a study is not feasible due to the widespread destruction of old records, and the limited quantity of personell identifying information on those records that do still exist.
