This appendix to the final report for Task 1 of the DOE/AGC project contains a detailed description of the program; guidelines for preparing the input data; and an explanation of the output. Sample input and output are included for illustrative purposes. The bulk of the analytical detail is included in Chapter 2 of the report. The main program DEAGER controls the execution of the AGC (Automatic Generation Control) simulation program. It first calls the subroutine CONTRL which calls the appropriate subroutines to read the input data and for initialization. CONTRL returns control to DEAGER which, depending on the input flag calls: UPDAT1 which enables the user to change previously entered or computed values; SIMUL which computes the system behavior as a function of time; PLOT for obtaining a plot output; and PERFR2, PERFEV to print the performance measures.
