Quadrupole Boson Densities in the Germanium Region by Inelastic Electron Scattering

The collective properties of four germanium isotopes have been explored through the measurement of the transition charge densities of the first two 2 exp + states. Their spatial features and their apparent anomalous behavior is readily explained in the frame of the Interacting Boson Model. (ERA citation 11:012328)
