Dsup(O)-Dsup(O)-Bar Mixing: Standard Versus Non-Standard Scenarios

Dsup(O)-Dsup(O)-bar mixing is estimated in several extensions of the minimal SU(2)sub(L)xU(1) model. In some of these models the theoretical upper bound on this mixing (which is known to be strongly suppressed in the standard model) turns out to be rather large - sometimes even close to the present experimental upper bound.
