Long lived fission products might be deposited in the environment after a serious reactor accident. At Risoe we have studied how Danish weather conditions and fire hosing influence the decontamination of Rubidium 86 (representing Cesium 134 and Cesium 137) deposited on concrete surfaces. Measurements have been made at two different types of concrete and at some asphalt surfaces for comparison. (Atomindex citation 16:045600)
