Meteorological Design Parameters for the Candidate Site of a Radioactive-Waste Repository at Yucca Mountain, Nevada

This study presents a collection of meteorological information and data for the design and construction of installations at the candidate location of a repository for radioactive waste at Yucca Mountain, on the Nevada Test Site. Climate and weather data provided in this summary, essential to the proper architectural engineering of surface and sub-surface facilities and scheduling of repository activities include: precipitation, lightning, temperature, relative humidity, solar radiation, cloud coverage, wind, and air pressure.
