The continuing quality assurance effort by the Environmental Surveillance Group is presented. Changes in methodology and computing resources that have taken place since the previous report in this series are documented. All quality assurance reference materials now in use, their certified or consensus concentrations, and all analytical chemistry quality assurance measurements made by HSE-8 during 1983 are included.
