Transformation of a Plane Shock into Uniform Clindrical or Spherical Shock by Wall Shaping

摘要

This paper deals with the possibility of generation of uniform strength cylindrical or spherical shock wave from an initial uniform plane shock by two dimensional configuration of the wall of the shock tube. It is shown that this problem has a solution, in the frame of Whitham's theory. (ERA citation 11:042326)
