Embedding of an LA-Semigroup in a Commutative Monoid

The aim of this paper is to prove that if an LA-semigroup contains a cancellative LA-subsemigroup such that the LA-subsemigroup is contained in the central of the LA-semigroup then it can be embedded in a commutative monoid whose cancellable elements form an Abelian group and the identity element of this group coincides with the identity element of the commutative monoid. 5 refs.
