Study of Clor-N-Oil 50 PCB Screening Kits on Waste Oil Samples

Twenty ''Clor-N-Oil 50'' PCB screening kits were tested with a variety of oil samples to determine whether they are suitable for identifying waste oils not contaminated with PCB's. Reliable results were obtained with clean transformer oils for which these kits were designed. Unreliability associated with use on waste oil samples renders them not cost-effective for use on waste oil. 2 refs., 2 tabs. (ERA citation 11:007596)
