Economic Evaluation of Short Rotation Intensive Culture Energy Plantations

摘要

The evaluation of the economics of a representative Short Rotation Intensive Culture (SRIC) energy plantation is demonstrated in this paper using a microcomputer-based cost simulation model. The model is briefly described and then it is used to conduct sensitivity analyses on the rotation age, plantation costs, and first and coppice rotation productivity. By specifying interval estimates for uncertain activities the model is used to conduct an expedient risk analysis. (ERA citation 10:043992)
