COMMIX-2: A Three-Dimensional Transient Computer Program for Thermal-Hydraulic Analysis of Two-Phase Flows.

The mathematical bases of the computer program COMMIX-2 are described in detail. COMMIX-2, which describes steady-state and transient single and two-phase flow conditions, has been developed from the single-phase flow version of COMMIX, COMMIX-1A, and relies on the same concepts of volume porosity, directional surface porosity, distributed resistance, and heat source. Two models for two-phase flow are included in the program.
