Power-Law Localization in One-Dimensional Random Potentials

摘要

The energy spectrum of particle in a one-dimensional Kronig-Penney of length L is studied. The transfer matrix approach is used to calculate the transmission coefficient T. In particular it is found that at certain isolated energies the states are not exponentially localized as usual but power-localized. We have also examined the influence of an electric field F on the nature of the electronic states. It is deduced that T behaves as Lsup(- alpha (E,F)). 18 refs, 2 figs.
