The phenomenological chiral Lagrangian method is applied for describing the semileptonic decays of ordinary and charmed delta sub(c)sup(+) baryons. The calculated partial widths (or relative probabilities) of ordinary baryon decays agree with the experimental data available. That confirms the Cabibbo theory with chiral currents and permits to predict the probabilities of such decays not exactly yet measured. For delta sub(c)sup(+) three- and four-body decays are calculated. Probability of Cabibbo-resolved decay of delta sub(c)sup(+)-> delta sub(e nu ) is in agreement with the data on delta sub(c)sup(+)-> delta echi, whereas for delta sub(c)sup(+)->p pi e nu and delta sub(c)sup(+)->pKe nu calculated value is smaller as compared to the experimental one for delta sub(c)sup(+)->pechi. The lifetime of delta sub(c)sup(+) is estimated to be equal to rsub( delta sub(c)sup(+))=(2.0+-0.7)x10.sup(-13)s. 9 refs.; 1 fig.; 2 tabs. (Atomindex citation 18:004011)
