Important Atomic Physics Issues for Ion Beam Fusion

摘要

This paper suggests several current atomic physics questions important to ion beam fusion. Among the topics discussed are beam transport, beam-target interaction, and reactor design. The major part of the report is discussion concerning areas of research necessary to better understand beam-target interactions. (ERA citation 12:038383)
