The pore size, shape, structure and coarsening in glass-like carbon (GLC) samples heat-treated at temperatures in the range 1000 to 2800 deg C and for heat-treatment times up to 156 hours, have been investigated using small angle x-ray scattering and wide range x-ray diffraction, wide range neutron diffraction and total neutron scattering techniques.
