Uniaxial and Triaxial Compression Test Series on Two Types of Foundry Stone

Uniaxial and triaxial compression experiments were performed on ten cylindrical samples of foundry stone. All of the test samples were nominally 50.8 mm in diameter, with a 2:1 length to diameter ratio. The experiments were run on room dry samples in compression, at room temperature, four confining pressures, and a nominal axial displacement rate of 10 exp -4 mm/s. 3 refs., 8 figs., 5 tabs.
