摘要

The preparation and examination by LEED and Auger spectroscopy epitaxial iron films evaporated onto carefully prepared, oriented monocrystals of copper is described. A new method of calculating work functions as accurately as other ab initio methods has been developed and is in excellent agreement with experiment. (ERA citation 11:011131)
