摘要

A 500-kWh zinc chloride battery test system completed an entire schedule of 80 simulated utility and customer application cycles - the most diverse and severe known to be successfully performed by any advanced battery system. Encouraged by these results, researchers plan to have a 2-MW demonstration battery system ready for testing in 1986. (ERA citation 11:003013)
