The Code Maintenance Package (CMP) is a set of programs that provide a method of maintaining computer programs and other data sets. CMP provides an update processor, update correction set generation by file comparison, deck sorting and various file handling utilities. Library files can be written in a system independent mode and transferred between different computer systems without loss of correction history. The CMP package is written in strict FORTRAN 77 and can be used on any system with sufficient memory and a full standard compiler. (ERA citation 10:026540)
