Floating Production Vessels in Steel

The report concerns the future development of the Norwegian continental shelf with respect to the new types of facilities and systems designed for deep water conditions. The floating production systems and vessels made of steel are discussed, and some thoughts on where to spend the research and development efforts to further advance the system state of the art are given. 7 drawings.
