IFR (Ion Focused Regime) Channel-Guiding of Spinning Beams

A simple model is adopted to study the Ion Focussed Regime (IFR) laser channel-guiding of a spinning relativistic electron beam. It is discovered that spinning beams precess about the IFR axis as they damp; whereas, nonspinning beams remain planarly polarized. (ERA citation 11:041373)
