摘要

A new base for the x-y table/print head assembly was constructed in conjunction with improvements made to the ink pressure control system. Computer equipment was acquired and set up. A printing and firing study was completed. A study was done to evaluate the stability of a silver/bismuth ink. Theoretical studies of ink jet printing were initiated to develop a model to relate the amount of ink deposited per unit time to the physical properties of the ink and the machine parameters.
