User's Guide to Particle Physics Computer-Searchable Databases on the SLAC-SPIRES System

This report discusses five computer-searchable databases located at SLAC which are of interest to particle physicists. These databases assist the user in literature-searching, provide numerical data extracted from papers, and contain information about experiments. We describe the databases briefly, tell how to use the SPIRES database management system to access them interactively, and give several examples of their use. (ERA citation 12:010174)
