Pulse Radiolytic Studies of Inter- and Intramolecular Electron Transfer Processes. Progress Report

Electron transfer processes have been studied by kinetic spectrophotometric pulse radiolysis. These studies include examination of the mechanisms, rate and equilibrium constants, and activation energies of electron transfer reactions in a variety of chemical systems such as organic radicals and radical ions, inorganic radicals, and metalloporphyrins. Highlights of our results during the past year are summarized below. (ERA citation 12:001017)
