Supplement No. 4 to the Safety Evaluation Report for the application filed by Carolina Power and Light Company, et al., for license to operate the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant, Unit No. 1, located in Wake County, North Carolina, has been prepared by the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The purpose of the supplement is to update the Safety Evaluation Report of (1) additional information submitted by the applicants since Supplement No. 3 was issued, and (2) matters that the staff had under review when Supplement No. 3 was issued.
