MULTWO: Compositional Computer Model for Transient Oil/Gas Two-Phase Flow. The EFP-85 Project

The development of the compositional transient computer model, MULTWO, for oil/gas two-phase flow has been continued. the numerical method for a simultanous determination of ordinary flow parameters (pressure, velocities etc.) and gas and liquid composition has been further developed and fine-tuned up to a well-functioning state. Submodels for horizontal/inclined stratified flow and vertical annular flow and slug flow has been implemented and tested, thus covering the most common flow patterns. The submodels has also been implemented and tested in the LICTWOP computer model. The applied test cases from pipelines in operation.
