Workshop on the Frontiers of Theoretical and Experimental Electrochemistry

摘要

The Workshop on the Frontiers of Theoretical and Experimental Electrochemistry was held at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, February 25-26, 1985, to identify those problems and techniques that are at the forefront of electrochemistry research and to generate a summary that will be a guide to the most fruitful areas of electrochemistry research and a foundation for long-term support of such work in this country. Among the conclusions, major advances in understanding electrochemical systems are expected from the application of the new tools for in situ characterization of the solid/electrolyte interface. Parallel thrusts are needed in the areas of theory, experiments on well-defined surfaces, and exploratory research on new interfacial phenomena and new electrode materials.
