摘要

A simplified model for analyzing the electromagnetic response of umbilical connectors and certain low-profile radar antennas is studied. The analysis is appropriate for approximating the response through several gigahertz. The integral equations which describe the TM symmetric modes are numerically solved, and several generic results are presented. Where applicable, comparison with analytic results is made. Corrections are made to some previous analytic results which have been found to be in error. 18 refs., 20 figs., 1 tab. (ERA citation 12:010659)
