NMR Investigations of Aging Effects in Palladium Tritide

Using pulsed NMR techniques, relaxation times for triton, proton, and sup 3 He nuclei in recently synthesized PdH/sub x/ and PdT/sub x/ samples were measured as a function of temperature in the range 100 less than or equal to T less than or equal to 300 deg K. Rigid lattice second moments (T approx. = 100 deg K) were also determined. These results provide baseline information for an extended study of aging effects of PdT/sub x/. 6 refs., 7 figs., 2 tabs.
