摘要

The primary objective of this work is to understand the behaviour of gas generation and migration from the repository to be constructed near the surface in Sweden, located offshore below the seabed with access tunnels leading down to the repository from the land. The analysis shows gas that is released from the repository becomes higher than in the rock above. Sensitivity of the gas generation rate was also studied. The gas release time was found to be dependent on the host rock permeability, capillary pressure and gas generation rate. 4 figures and 7 refs. (ERA citation 11:055804)
