摘要

A single turnover technique has been used to measure the densities of the various types of active sites present on a number of different supported metal catalysts prepared by reduction at differing temperatures. The data obtained indicate that lower reduction temperatures favor the formation of metal particles having high kink densities and rather uncrowded edge atoms. Reduction at higher temperatures gives particles with fewer kink atoms, somewhat more edge atoms present possibly in a close step arrangement. 7 refs., 4 figs., 1 tab. (ERA citation 11:056674)
