Values determining the properties of atomic nuclei used as targets in nuclear collisions are presented. Average and maximum thicknesses of nuclear substance layers involved in the collisions at different impact parameters are calculated. The calculation is made for 24 atomic nuclei: sup 12 C, sup 14 N, sup 16 O, sup 19 F, sup 20 Ne, sup 27 Al, sup 28 Si, sup 32 S, sup 40 Ar, sup 52 Cr, sup 54 Fe, sup 59 Co, sup 64 Cu, sup 65 Zn, sup 73 Ge, sup 80 Br, sup 108 Ag, sup 127 J, sup 131 Xe, sup 181 Ta, sup 184 W, sup 197 Au, sup 207 Pb, sup 238 U. Tables containing the calculation results are presented. The tables are to be used when analyzing data on hadron-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus collisions. 12 references, 1 table.
