Magnetic properties have been investigated for several rare-earth based, polycrystalline samples of high T/sub c/ superconductive ''123'' compounds with magnetic onset temperatures between 90 and 95 deg K. Analysis of the susceptibility chi of samples based on Gd, Ho, and Dy indicates that the superconductive and magnetic properties are independent of one another to a substantial degree. 8 refs., 3 figs., 1 tab.
