This document describes a laser velocimeter - minicomputer data acquisition system that is used in the measurement of fluid velocity. An automated traversing mechanism is also described. The data collection, processing, calculation and display of velocity plots in real-time is the principal feature of this system. (ERA citation 12:016674)
