Aging of Nuclear Station Diesel Generators: Evaluation of Operating and Expert Experience - Workshop.

The workshop, addressed in the report, is part of a research program conducted by Pacific Northwest Laboratory (PNL) for the NRC Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research to identify the technical issues associated with aging and service wear of nuclear service emergency diesel generator (EDG) systems. The results of this segment of the research will aid in identifying and characterizing aging and service wear of diesel generators so that the effects can be mitigated before safety is affected. The workshop was held, in part, to assess the perceptions of individuals directly involved with the manufacturing, installation, operation, maintenance, and testing of EDGs.
