Abnormal Diffusion of Vacancies in Metals

摘要

The vacancy-concentration effect on the vacancy-migration-energy and the behavior of divacancies were considered in deriving a formula for the vacancy-current in bcc metals. It turns out that vacancies will migrate in the direction of increasing concentration, when the concentration is greater than some critical value determined by a reasonable physical condition.
