Recomposition of a Gaussian Laser Beam into a Homogeneous Distribution of High Energy Density.

In a previous publication, the theoretical study of several devices able to transform a TEM sub 00 laser beam in an uniform energy distribution has shown the quality of a mirror device called L sub 1 . Here it is shown that the performance of this device can be increased by the adjunction of lens, allowing one to obtain higher energy density without high alteration of energy distribution. 3 refs., 4 figs.
