摘要

One event consisting of a single 380 MeV electron found in Gargamelle 14 years ago established the existence of neutrino induced Neutral Current (NC) interactions and bounded the Standard Electroweak Model (SEM)'s parameter x = sin sup 2 theta/sub w/ between 0.1 and 0.6. This review will show that with present day techniques the measurement of this parameter has reached a precision which equals the uncertainty due to the theoretical interpretation of such experiments. After a brief reminder of notations, the various neutrino experiments and their results will be reviewed with some insistance on neutrino scattering off isoscalar targets. The review will be concluded with a comparison of x obtained from the W boson mass and with an outlook. 31 refs., 2 figs., 1 tab. (ERA citation 13:044073)
