Equation of State of PETN Detonation Products

We have made shock Hugoniot and expansion measurements on the detonation products of PETN over the range .5 to 114 GPa. We find that for PETN which is relatively oxygen rich as opposed to most other explosives CJ measurements, expansion measurements and supra-compression measurements are consistent with a time independent EOS.
